Constraining Cosmic Acceleration

Abstract:

I will review the current constraints on the accelerated expansion of the Universe. I will present possible model explanations in forms of dark energy and long distance modifications of gravity. In this context I will review current constraints on these models. Then I will give an outlook on forthcoming (DES) and future (Euclid) dark energy probes.
