NNLO mixed QCD-EW corrections to the Drell-Yan production of Z and W bosons

Abstract:

Drell-Yan production of Z and W bosons is a very important process for physics studies at hadron colliders. The current theoretical prediction includes the NNLO calculation in QCD, together with the resummation of logarithmic terms coming from soft gluon emission up to the next-to-next-to-leading logarithmic accuracy. In the talk, we will present the status of the analytic calculation of the mixed NNLO α α_S corrections to the total production cross section.
