Despite the serious consequences of the financial crisis and the loss of our main sponsor, we are pleased to announce that we have found enough financing to allow the Vienna Central European Seminar 2009 to take place as planned and to support junior scientists again.

Due to this situation, however, we had to halt all pr-activities for the Seminar until financing had been secured. We apologize for this and now cordially invite you to apply for the 2009 Seminar.
