QED in finite volume and finite size scaling effect on electromagnetic properties of hadrons
Abstract:
To study the electromagnetic correction to the hadronic
property by means of lattice simulation, we begin with formulating a new QED in finite volume.
By adopting this formalism to the low energy effective theory, we calculate the finite size scaling
of pseudoscalar meson masses. Then we determine the light quark masses from QCD+QED lattice
imulation, by using pseudoscalar meson masses as inputs.
