Recent developments in QCD for LHC physics

Abstract:

We will review recent theoretical developments in QCD, attempting to assess the phenomenological impact of new theoretical results and to identify potentialy useful directions for the future. A part of the talk will be devoted to new imaginative ideas which are rapidly changing the traditional approach to QCD computations, and surprising theoretical discoveries from perturbative calculations on the structure of gauge theories.
