Holographic dark energy and IR scale of the Universe

Abstract:

I discuss a cosmological model with a holographic dark energy in which the cosmological constant and the Newton constant are time-dependent quantitites. The holography, together with some additional assumptions and consistency requirements, uniquely fixes the IR cutoff, which, in turn, determines the time evolution of the Universe.
