Prospects for Higgs searches at the LHC

Abstract:

In this talk I will summarize the current simulation studies by the LHC experiments regarding the searches for Higgs bosons, both in the context of the Standard Model as well as its supersymmetric extension. Some emphasis will be given to the early discovery reach, as well as to recent studies regarding background estimations and systematic uncertainties.
