xtended LHC reach in focus point region of MSSM

Abstract:

The large hadron collider (LHC) at CERN has a great potential to discover supersymmetric matter. A precise measurement of the relic density of dark matter recently performed by WMAP strongly constrains models of cold dark matter, in particular supersymmetric models. The observability at LHC of supersymmetric points has been studied in the WMAP allowed region. In this talk, I will expose the results of a recent study we have performed which extends the previously calculated reach of the LHC in the WMAP allowed hyperbolic branch/focus point region of the mSuGRA (minimal supergravity) plane.
